Thanksgiving Walk

oil on panel
7"x7"

I took pictures on Thanksgiving like a crazy woman.  I was lucky to capture this evocative moment, which seems to me to speak of larger things than a simple walk to work off the Thanksgiving dinner.

Such a simple walk...such a wonderful painting. Love your use of lights and darks to draw viewers in. Love this!

I am in love with all your figure paintings. Well, I shouldn't say that, I should say ALL your paintings. There's something very contemplative about them that I love.

Taryn, love the design of this painting, the use of light; and the topography of the girl descending.

Truth is, I'm a little nervous for her with the three men converging quietly...
