Running to Meet the Band, New Year's Day, Philadelphia

This girl was having exuberant fun horsing around on Broad Street with her New Year's Day hat. I like the running pose I caught, and her very cheerful yellow sweatshirt.
It's dark and rainy today, so I had a little trouble getting a photo without glare. The New Year's Day hat is really a nice deep blue, but got washed out here.
Also- and a big also- the warm and wonderful artist Crystal Cook interviewed me on her blog!! Such great questions- it was fun to answer them.

This series is getting better and better -- there is a clear sense of motion and purposefulness in this one. I also like the (coincidence?) primary color scheme of the girls' clothes in this series -- so far it has been magenta red, cyan blue and yellow! ^--~ Is that intentional ? :-)
