Winter Landscape with Lumberyard

I had another blast painting outside today. The temperature was 40 degrees, and when the sun shone I felt toasty. Two days ago I painted a landscape in one very concentrated session, but this one has a more complex composition, and so it took two days.

 Love that winter light!

You certainly captured the toasty light--I can feel it. Well done!

This is a wonderful painting, Taryn! The little yellow triangle in the upper right corner creates a beautiful effect of light throughout the whole scene. Now I want to paint a winter landscape, too!

Taryn, I love these landscapes of residential neighborhoods! You have done these before, and I am always impressed!
