Mother and Child with Sunflowers

oil on masonite
6"x6"
I spent Sunday taking pictures at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and at the Rodin Museum just up the street. It takes me about 50 candid shots to get one that I love, but I knew the moment I took this one that I had something.

I adore the child's head peeping out - adds so much.
This is wonderful Taryn. In fact everything you do is wonderful

Persistent picture-taking pays off again! So gorgeous overall - always love your museum ones. Here it's the teeny bits that make it for me - the peek of negative space between her head and the frame edge, the little peeking face and that sweet little hand. Plus you threw in some Van Gogh(?) for good measure. You're awesome Taryn!

I pinned this....http://pinterest.com/pin/20195898301055004/ because i LOVE it. The baby looks a little bit upset, but hey, they often are. :)
