There is always a little more you could do in a portrait of someone you know...a little more to the nose, to the ear, the eyes- but I try and stop once I feel like the person is there rather than just brushstrokes.  Hmmm...maybe the lips.

Waoww... as say the young ones! And your words are so interesting about presence or strokes… I sometimes think that the 'presence' is for you, and the strokes for us... So the strokes are universal, more on the art side, with or without the lips… I really do appreciate your work.
