This is the first of a series of painting based on photographs I took at Philadelphia's Mummers Parade on New Year's day. This little girl was having a great time watching giant gumball machines work their way up Broad Street.

The little girls jacket is pink but because it's in shade/silhouette almost, it appears quite dark, brilliantly done a I love the way the shape of the coat and creases in the material are so well observed. Great work And this isn't just a random comment I love your figure work.
